eWeek: Google has revamped the results page for its image search. Images are now packed much more closely together, and thanks to a new instant page scrolling features, users can see up to 1,000 pictures without linking to a new page. Users can also see a larger view of images by hovering over thumbnails, and Google has rolled out a new Image Search Ad format as well.

While Google says the changes were inspired by user requests, others note that some of the changes look a lot like features of rival search engine Microsoft Bing.
