Wall Street Journal: In another sign that the company is planning to develop a social network that could compete with Facebook, unnamed sources tell the Wall Street Journal that Google is in talks with top online game developers, including Playdom Inc., Electronic Arts Inc.'s Playfish and Zynga Game Network Inc. No one knows when Google might launch the social networking service rumored to be called "Google Me."

Earlier this week, Google CEO Eric Schmidt declined to confirm the rumors about Google Me, saying "the world doesn't need a copy of the same thing."
