Computerworld: At the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas, researchers reported that more attacks are originating in China because sophisticated hacking tools are openly bought and sold there. It's marketed "almost like a commercial product," said Val Smith founder of Attack Research. He added that the tools have version numbers, product advertising, end-user license agreements and 24-hour support services.
Another researcher added that Chinese hackers can buy the tools they need to get started for about $20.
